The Silhouettes Steel Orchestra is a popular, long -standing steel band in Toronto. The orchestra is comprised of approximately 70 players for the Caribana season. It uses a smaller complement for auditorium-sized shows and other functions. Silhouettes was founded in 1979 under the leadership of Danny Mosca and continues to be a leading Steel Orchestra in Toronto for the past 31 years.  This orchestra holds dear the opportunity to give youth an avenue to learn music and to express themselves creatively through this wonderful medium.

Performances over the years include various functions in Canada and the U.S.A. Silhouettes continues to be a strong contender at the annual Caribana Parades and Steel Pan competitions
